GB Gets the Reunited Apart Treatment!

10/6/2020

If you are not acquainted with Josh Gad's recent online work, Reunited Apart sees Josh arrange a group call with the cast and crew of well-beloved movies to reminisce and offer behind the scenes stories and anecdotes.

Not only does these episodes give us a chance to see some our favourite movie heroes back to together, they are also raising money for a different charity each episode.

So far we have had the pleasure of seeing reunions for The Goonies, Back to the Future, Splash and Lord of the Rings (which at the end gave a teaser for the next episode!).

That's right - Ghostbusters is next and, as the trailer shows, Josh has been able to do grab Murray, Aykroyd, Hudson, Potts, Weaver and both Ivan and Jason Reitman (and who knows who will be in the wings for a surprise!).

We can't be more excited to watch this when it drops onto YouTube on June 15th!

Six decades on from the civil rights protests at Selma and Stonewall, minority communities are still fighting for the right to exist and to not be persecuted by their communities or by the systems that are designed to help them.

June is traditionally Pride month, but in 2020 it is important to remember that as some battles for equal rights are won, others are still being waged.

The UKGB
welcomes and supports fans of all colours, creeds, gender and sexuality.

It's sad, but very understandable with everything going on, that the celebrations planned for Ghostbusters Day have been put on hold.

The good news is that this must mean Sony and Ghost Corps had something special planned...

We will report more information has it comes out.

Larry DiTillio, one of the writers for He-Man and She-ra, as well as some of our favourite episodes of The Real Ghostbusters, sadly passed away last week.

Mr DiTillio was the man behind RGB episodes  "Dairy Farm" and "You Can't Teach An Old Demon New Tricks".

He died of Parkinson's disease at the age of 71.

IDW Interview GB/Transformers Team

28/2/2019

We have never been shy when it comes to showing our love for the IDW comic series.

The team behind such gems (Erik Burnham, Dan Schoening, Tristan Jones, Tom Waltz and other regular collaborators) has penned some amazing stories whilst effortlessly capturing the essence of these beloved characters.

This year sees even more exciting additions such as one-shots of the Prime, Real, Extreme and ATC teams to celebrate the 35th anniversary.

However, the most anticipated of these is definitely the 80s smash-up of the boys in grey and their fellow IDW and Saturday morning alumni - Transformers!

IDW caught up with Burnham, Schoening and Delgado to chat about the highly-anticipated crossover!

Looks like Playmobil are not yet done with their Ghostbuster goodies!

According to this post, we can expect to see some new figures on the way - each standing just under 6" tall and available either separately or in one collector box!

Not only that but we can also spy the good ol' Ecto 1-A as well - which will be a fantastic addition to their previously released original Ecto!

A big thank you to James Sawyer who shared this in the Ghostbusters Franchise Worldwide FB group!
