The UK Ghostbusters & friends hit the town yesterday to celebrate the UK release of the new Ghostbusters film - and boy did we have a blast!
After getting a call about somethin' weird in Waterloo, we rolled out to find an old friend causing havoc! Everyone's favourite Marshmallow Man decided to make his big break in the station - right through the floor (Courtesy of Wild Creations)! On top of that, there is evidence of a local Slimer causing mischief, and a cool Forbidden Planet pop-up store selling all things Ghostbusters!
It seems forever ago when we placed our pre-order for this, and so you can imagine the excitement seeing the tired, disheveled postman hand over a slightly buffed Amazon box! After almost removing the arm of said postman, and squiggling some sort of electric signature on his pad, the door was barely shut when the package was ripped open.
And it's beautiful - you can't hep but stare at the cover for a while! Luckily the awaiting pages do not drop the bar and look just as awesome!
The UK Ghostbusters were lucky enough to be sent an advanced copy of the upcoming 'Ghosts From Our Past - Both Literally & Figuratively: The Study of the Paranormal'.
This is the 'Newly Revised and Somewhat Updated' edition of the in-movie book that was written by characters Erin Gilbert and Abby Yates. The book has been brought to life by Andrew Shaffer, and plays as part autobiography, part research paper and part spook catalogue (akin to the great John Horace Tobin's Spirt Guide).
Since the birth of GhostCorps and, with it, the potential of multiple films and tv shows, we have been waiting for any other GB projects to be announced outside the 2016 film, and today Sony has announced their next endeavour: Ecto Force.
Gearing up for a 2018 kick-off, the brand new animated series will focus on a new generation of Zappers n Trappers catching an array of spooks and spectres in the futuristic year 2050 with a range of local teams and an arsenal of new gizmos and gadgets.
